Elina Antila has assumed her role as the CEO of YTM on September 1, 2024. Previously serving as YTM’s Chief Operating Officer, Antila brings a diverse background in business management and management consulting. With a Ph.D. in Economics, Antila has held various business leadership and development roles at companies such as Oriola, Purmo Group, and Outotec. She began her career in management consulting with PwC and EY.
Elina Antila succeeds Ari Numminen, who is moving on to work for Indutrade, the owner of YTM. Numminen commented on the appointment: ”I am very pleased that we have found such a skilled and motivated leader for YTM, who already knows the company well and has been involved in implementing strategic development projects alongside the management team.”
Numminen will take on the role of Head of the Process Industry Finland segment within Indutrade’s Process, Energy and Water business unit. YTM is one of the companies within this segment, and Numminen will also serve as the Chairman of the Board of YTM going forward. In this role, he will continue to actively support the development and strategic growth of YTM.
Antila has been with YTM since the summer of 2023, initially leading the renewal of the operating model and later developing and managing sales and other strategic initiatives. She has been particularly drawn to the company’s sense of community: ”The people and organizational culture always win my heart. That gives meaning to the work. Most importantly, YTM has a forward-looking and developing approach, which is very important to me.”
YTM congratulates Elina on her appointment and wishes Ari success in his new role!
